Hello, my name is Joe Knapp I am a trainer in New York and owner of VON WOLFENFELS.I met Mike 8 yrs.ago through a client of Mikes who told me about a dog he was about to purchase. While talking to him about the training the dog received I also did not believe. The next thing I knew was on the phone with about his training and breeding program that he has put in place and his facility. Now to let you in on some info, I have owned many dogs and breeds over the past 22yrs-Sch dogs Ring dogs’ etc., and those that know me know that I don’t BULLSHIT.... I tell it like it is for the sake of the working dog. I did not believe everything that Mike was telling me but I try to be open minded person, so I went up there on an invitation from Mike to come up see the dogs for myself, this was after many months of conversation. Well let me fill you in, Mike was not only the most interesting trainer that I have ever met, but he turned out to be a good friend. BADEN K-9 the family and staff, the facility, and most! important the dogs are TOP SHELF.I have seen everything there and it opened a new door for me as a trainer, to see how Mike approaches the communication between dog and handler. The first group of dogs that I worked were 61/2 mnth. old Malinois and these females were tough as nails but the control was higher than what most 2-3 yr.old adults could do. I have been back up there at least 30 times over the past 8 yrs.I was there when the facility was redone. I know a lot of people out there might not believe what training is accomplished at BADEN but I tell you it is all true and then some. Mike did not in any way ask me to write this, but I did this so that the people that do know me accept this as FACT, because I am a man of my WORD. Joe Knapp NEW YORK (VON WOLFENFELS)
