The photos show young dogs and some pups being handled by young men from a private military school. Theses seemingly uncoordinated young dogs have been bred for this work and are born prepared. In these still often uncoordinated young dogs, rest giants that are slowly emerging. They are being prepared for the work that they must do.
I look at them and still find myself shaking my head when I think of the transition
The action and interaction of many pups is widely misunderstood, by many handlers and
trainers and many
great ones are discarded through ignorance.
Handlers and young pups work and walk the fields slowly now, but soon the wind will move as
these creatures dig in for speed. These young dogs will do with us that which we have never done
before. They are neither impressed, nor troubled by the thought.
Why then are we?
