Obedience Training

Obedience training at Baden is called Working Service Training.

Unlike conventional obedience work, you and your dog will learn control in such a way that no one, nor anything will affect your handling and communication with your K-9.

One important skill taught to all of Baden's K9 Soldiers is agility. Dogs being trained obedience at Baden, learn to climb ladders, scale fences and walls, etc., in the training.
Because of this advanced agility instruction taught along obedience training, dogs that are trained at Baden are highly stable, safe around people, and very reliable.
This is an important factor so the owners will not need to be concerned about mistargeted attacks or that the K9 will be unfriendly to family members, whether it be children or adults, as well as visitors or neighbors.

Dogs who have been trained here are able to distinguish between friendliness and hostility. This makes them a good member of the family as well as a skilled personal defender.

An obedience trained Baden K-9 Soldier can be sent into your home ahead of the family to search the house for intruders. The dog will conduct a thorough search of the house using his keen senses of smell and hearing to determine whether or not there is an intruder present.
If there is an intruder in the house the dog will restrain him.
If the house is clear he will return to his handler and indicate that the house is safe to enter.

In the case of a home invasion where several armed intruders may forcefully enter your home, Baden's K9 Soldiers are trained in techniques that efficiently disarm all of the intruders and to prevent an attack.

A dog that is properly obedience trained can travel in vehicles with the family, go with their owners to bank machines, work, or anywhere their owners would like them to go.

Courses can run from a single day course, which touches on all of the aspects of Working Service Obedience training, or training which can run any length of days, depending on the needs of the client.

We reserve the right to deny training to anyone, for any reason. A deposit is required and full payment is due prior to the start of the course. The deposit is refundable if written cancellation is received 30 days or more prior to the scheduled date of the course.
