A REPLY TO "NOBODY".
I received this email from a person that identified themselves only as "Nobody". I think that they actually believed what
they wrote to me. I replied stating that this information was incorrect. The email reads exactly as follows……….
"You do realize the full mouth bite is developed so the German Shepherd can "grip' the sheep back to the flock without
injuring it……" (End of email.)
The dogs in our world face many indignities at the sweaty hands of humans. The truth is seldom given much attention as
the myths and untruths are taken for gospel. Good herding dogs are few and far between. The German Shepherds Dog was
once a very good herding dog. However even at his best he never carried the sheep back into the flock, nor was a bite
produced to assist him in his herding. The full mouth bite is the creation of the sleeve and the sport world. It like
this email is in itself an untruth. What appears to be real on a groomed field with weak dysfunctional dogs and people
in spandex does not exist in the real world. This is not because of me, nor in spite of me. This is because it is the
truth. So even though the "nobody's" of the world will never listen……I am writing in case the "somebody's" will. The
dogs have for far too long been left to the whims of the "nobody's". It is time that "somebody" put an end to it.
