For years we have trained for real life application. Testing and re-testing our methods. Applying theory under all conditions using different dogs and handlers. When we go overseas to work we bring home new applications in our work. Training becomes a road, which can lead to success or disaster. The choice is ours and we made sure that awareness lives in us day and night. The dog becomes more than a dog he becomes a comrade. He is seen to think out the most difficult problems. Some believe a dog is incapable of thought. They have never really worked with a working dog. If I had to state one thing that holds true in training it is keep it real. As real as real can be. If you choose not to do this you will find out when it gets real, you, your dog and your team will fail.
