REGARDING THE BITE
Have you ever wondered why a dog would bite with his molars? I have never seen a dog bite with his molars, as is described in a "full mouth bite". I have seen a dog hold onto a bite sleeve, but is he really biting? I know that he is not. I know this because no predator, including the dog, that bites with his molars. If they did, then why did GOD give them canines? They must be for more than looks or decoration.
Does every good dog have "von" in front of his name? I know they do not. In fact the "von" should precede the words stupid dog. Why is it called "Pronounced courage" when there is absolutely no courage in the pushing of a dog on a sport field? Do you think the dog actually thinks that he is in danger on that field? It is a game, a game played by lesser people with lesser dogs. If we are to believe that a dog first thinks a tug is actually something to bite and to fight, it makes it easier to accept he believes a heavy sleeve is also an article worth killing.
You see a bite, a "Real bite," is given to kill, or to weaken so as to kill. These so called bites and displays of courage may well draw the applause of the onlookers but so does a good tennis match. Tennis is also a "sport", it is accepted as such.
If one wants to train "Tricks" and do sport, then so be it. It is after all a free world. It is not however acceptable to use a "Game" as a judge or preliminary training method for "Real life" application. Just as we were led to believe the best dogs came from Germany only to find this is far from true. We must see that "sport" is a game and "von" in front of a kennel name is a warning of a lesser dog not an indicator of quality. Regarding the bite, one must think about what they are seeing or "von dog jockey" will put the bite on you.
