REMEMBERING THE GERMAN SHEPHERDS DOG

This tale of greed, lies and destruction is one that is ongoing. It begins with the desire and need for a hero. In this case a hero which materializes as the symbol of a people. This was the German Shepherd's Dog. A dog which became known as the dog of the German Shepherds or the dog of the Shepherds of Germany. A dog which was met with love and pride by a nation and coveted by an entire world. The intelligence and many capabilities of this dog soon found its way into a world at war. Going from herder, to war dog, to police dog, to rescue dog and to family companion. This one dog could do it all.

Many people who could not or needed to not work, found other things to occupy their time. To many this meant the showing of the dog and to others the competing of the dog in sport. At first the sport much resembled the test used for judging the dog's ability. In fact it was not considered a sport at all. Then it fell into the hands of a lesser people. The show ring began to twist and distort the dog to meet the way in which they viewed beauty.

The once great German Shepherds Dog plunged into a world of dysfunctional creatures while being held up as an object of beauty. Like some golden idol the dog even though incapable of running correctly was praised as a thing of beauty and grace. It seemed the more tormented the minds of those in the registries and show world became the more the dog suffered as it revealed the true hearts of those involved. In the sport world the requirements lessened so as to enable a lesser people to not only participate but to win.

The same cancer which had devoured the dog in the show ring had also entered the body of what was once the working world. The dogs back began to slope; its hocks were crippled and unable to move correctly. Some dogs maintained a straight back and this physical appearance would soon become part of an argument for identifying the better dog. Unfortunately this too was just a visual as the very character of the dog was gone. Greed and deceit are like magnets which constantly draw from another living thing. The real treasure today is not the once noble dog; it is the holding and possessing of a piece of paper. You see, useless people have only to proclaim by holding this certificate of death and dishonorable deeds. They in their misty foggy minds find some credibility by displaying a certification of death on a breed, that like a flame in a breeze, is quickly losing its light.

Make no mistake when you purchase a German Shepherds Dog with a title, or registration papers. You are purchasing the papers. The dog is simply thrown in to give the deal credibility. Remember the German Shepherds Dog; he existed before hip dysphasia and schutzhunde. He walked with pride and strength. He did not sway and stumble like a spider upon glass. It takes a strong people to maintain a strong dog. It is very easy to see the work of a weak people. There was once a German Shepherds Dog, a dog bred by and for a strong people. There never was a west or east German Shepherds Dog. There never was a Czech German Shepherds Dog or an east border German Shepherds Dog. These images are simply lies, marketing tools to sell to foolish buyers that dream of owning a dog as good as the dog bred by original hands. There was, is and always will be only one German Shepherds Dog. Remember him for he is quickly disappearing and it will take much more than a straight back to bring him back. In fact it takes the same heart to recover him as it did to create him. The willingness to be shunned by a corrupt dog world and its self seated icons of death. The German Shepherds Dog needs a handler, a good and honest handler. One who will stand up for the dog and against a force which fears the light of truth.

I am considered by some to be a radical or a maverick; in fact I am simply speaking the truth. The truth becomes antagonistic in a world of untruths. It becomes abrasive only to those who deny it or fear it. In this case it is the vast majority of the dog world which wishes to continue destroying all breeds. The dog is simply a vessel which feeds their sick egos and gives them center stage. They have no concern for its welfare, nor shame for its condition. We need the German Shepherds Dog as the world becomes less certain and more treacherous. To put the breed back in order would mean that we as a people must also stand in the right place to be able to do so. You see, to bring about positive change in the dogs; we must first bring about positive changes within ourselves. They really do reflect our souls that can be just as much a comforting image as a terrifying one. The choice is ours as is the decision to look honestly at the situation. We need to constructively see the strong beginnings of the breed and to recall its capabilities historically. To admit where it is today, we can see that sloped or straight the back still hides many health and character problems. It is far more acceptable to nurse a sick dog than it is to attempt to reclaim the breed. That is how very sick these people are. They have, through articles and position, led us to accept the high cost of vet bills as well as the obligation to feed our dogs medications to assist in removing the symptoms of their arrogance. It is far more fashionable to display the pedigree that reads of champions while pointing out how much we spend on our vet bills, than it is to put down the sick, weak, twisted animal and breed for capability. It is this very acceptance of being weak that keeps them strong.

While on this earth, stand up!. Do not so willingly hand your journey over to these creatures that would have your silence give credibility to their crime. You were born into freedom by a power much more powerful than theirs. Hold it tightly; do not let them take it from you. You see it is not just a dog, it is a truth. It takes courage to open your eyes at times. It is however not acceptable to live with them tightly closed in denial of the truth. When we are strong, our children and our dogs are strong. Our government works for us, not against us, it only takes the desire to put things right. We are as twisted and distorted as the German Shepherds Dog has become, but we can change that. First however we must at least question it. To remember the German Shepherds Dog, we must also remember the way we once were. REMEMBER THE FOUR DOOR WRANGLER JEEP?

When we at Baden went looking for a vehicle that could stand up to our travel on and off the field, we found the new four door Jeep Wrangler. We are preparing to do a show for television so the look was also new and went with our type of training. Or so we thought.
