I have often smiled at how, in so many ways, my work and my words are being copied by so many without ever giving credit to where they took/stole them from. In fact many of those who have stolen my words have made it seem like they themselves have said them. Still when I read magazines and hear them speak it is obvious that they have no idea how to apply my words or tactics.

This week I was sent an email by a person that I trained with many years ago. She had seen a local S.A.R group and their police trainer on morning television. The trainer stated that a dog could not discriminate one scent from another and that after thirty minutes the scent is gone. In a magazine an article describes how to use a toy in doing bite work for law enforcement. I will not comment on either of these statements except to say that they are incorrect.

This seems to be the way of the world. As we sink deeper into a state of economic collapse we stand silently by as our tax dollars are given freely to corporations and bankers who have foolishly handled their business affairs. We still follow the lead of kennel club’s who have proven that their breeding practices have continually destroyed both the health and ability of every breed that they have touched. In fact, not one single breed has benefited from their perverse standards or practices. It is us who look on with empty faces as the Veterinarian community tells us to neuter and spay our dogs without any regard for the serious consequences of this stupid act. They push drugs instead of common sense and place micro-chips into our companions who can and do cause cancers and other serious problems. This too I assume is simply the way of the world.

Is it any wonder that our dogs seem to reflect not only our symptoms but our souls? We have for too long let uniforms and positions lead us into folly and foolishness. When the experts decry position even at the cost of human life through fear of being found ignorant, then the way of the world is crooked and distorted.

I no longer give training advice openly but this does not stop the illegal entry into my writings by those who simply can because of position. I will never jeopardize my position or compromise my training or philosophy just because of pressures placed upon me by the majority.

I have always bred the strongest dogs and followed this work. There are those who attempt to sell pups and dogs by using my name. They sneak around like gutter snipes hoping to steal what has taken years to build. Years of standing alone against all of those in sport who attempted to slander and cheat as they spoke on chat boards about untruths. We trained. While they boasted we proved. While they whined, we perfected. My name is registered. It is my trademark. If you’re using it, expect to hear about it soon. That means you Jim. It may be the way of the world to lie and cheat but it is not my way. We are all responsible for the path we choose. I chose one away from the crowd and the ways of the world.
