TRACKING/SCENT SEMINAR 5TH AND 6TH OF APRIL
  • 3-DAY TRACKING HOSTILE APPREHENSION WORKSHOPS IN COSTA RICA

  • SCENT AND MAN TRACKING CLASSES
    Sign up now for Scent and Man Tracking Classes. The classes are being held on Sunday mornings and will include both classroom and field training. It offers an excellent opportunity for beginners and those well into scent and tracking. All breeds are welcome. Come prepared for outdoor activity as these classes can become demanding.

  • WEEKEND SEMINARS ON MAN TRACKING AND SCENT RECOVERY
    Two day seminars, held on weekends, on man tracking and scent recovery, will be held monthly, starting the month of May. The program will start at 9 a.m and will begin in the classroom at Baden K9. The afternoons will be in the field for tracking and equipment orientation. The cost is one hundred dollars per day, per dog handler team. There is a fifty dollar charge for observers. All breeds are welcome.

    Topics covered will be:
    1. Multiple surface tracking.
    2. Inclement weather effects on scent.
    3. Scent discrimination and location.
    4. The truth about the contaminated area theory.
    5. The effects of terrain on scent.
    6. Equipment selection.
    7. Team Readiness.

    • REMEMBER THE FOUR DOOR WRANGLER JEEP?

    When we at Baden went looking for a vehicle that could stand up to our travel on and off the field, we found the new four door Jeep Wrangler. We are preparing to do a show for television so the look was also new and went with our type of training. Or so we thought.
