The following is our view on the matter.
We, who call ourselves Christians, are often confused and disheartened by the world events that seem to go against all that our nation and families were founded on.
Yet if we look deeper into the truth we will see clearly that this is our finest hour.
Our faith, once tested, we will find will sustain us.
The world and our country is doing exactly what we have been warned it will do.
We on the other hand, are not doing what we have been told to do.
We should not panic.
We should not be divided by fear.
We have forgotten that one of the basic principles of Christianity is the choice of yes or no. Do we serve God and believe his word, or not.
If we chose yes, then we must say no to those things that are not in accordance with Gods word.
It is that simple.
Those who have said we must follow their ways and stay silent while trying to make us feel ashamed of the very foundation our countries were built on, must be told no.
We will not stand for our sacred holidays to be changed.
We will not stand for our school system to be empty of
God's word.
We will not stand for our family unit to be broken up by government intervention and hastily passed laws meant to do this very thing.
Being a Christian does not mean being silent.
I have always thought it funny that Christianity, charity and courage all start with the letter "C".
We must be courageous and as God has stood for our salvation we must stand for our beliefs and those of our founding fathers.
There is not one problem that faces our nations today that cannot be solved or resolved within our Christian faith but we need the courage to be Christian.
We need the courage to say no.
There is one more "C" that we need and that is to do it collectively.
We must stand collectively, undivided, under the most important "C" of all and that is Christ.
We must have faith that we would not be here in this place, at this time, unless it is meant to be our place and our time.
Yes, we are Christians and this is our time.
We must rise to the trumpet and bring our nation into the greatness that it once knew for the glory of God.
