The following is a list of weekend seminars that will be offered by Baden K9 for the 2010 season. Please note that Baden K9 also offers private and group lessons throughout the year as well as on site training for handlers and dogs for military, law enforcement and private needs. Prices for these and other courses are available upon request by emailing badenk9@vaxxine.com or calling 905-562-3095.

January- 22nd, 23rd and 24th
A Service Dog Handling Course will combine all handling requirements of a Service Dog. It will incorporate obedience, protection, and scent work including man tracking. You will learn the meaning of “responsible handling” and stability while problem solving and under distraction.
Cost is two hundred dollars per day per dog and handler, fifty dollars guests with a handler and fifty dollars per day per extra dog.

February-19th, 20th and 21st
Bryan Higgins memorial tracking for charity event. This year the Bryan Higgins Track will be offered in the cold. Dress warm and prepare for a great time.

March-19th, 20th and 21st
This man tracking/Survival Course is designed for those who want to test their metal in the elements. Beginning on Friday afternoon we will enter the wilderness and prepare to hooch up for a long night and following day of man tracking. It will present its own real problems as we fight against, cold, discomfort and the elements to complete the given task. All are advised to bring warm clothing, food and water. We will be team problem solving and tracking all night. This course will provide a certificate of attendance upon completion and only upon completion.
Course cost is five hundred dollars and it runs from Friday at noon, until seven p.m on Saturday evening.

April-16th, 17th and 18th
Protection in the home and car seminar. As always our protection weekends will include the dos and don’ts of dog ownership. This course will point out those very things openly and honestly. Beginning on Friday at three it will conclude on Sunday afternoon.
Price is one hundred seventy five dollar per day, per dog handler team.

May-28th, 29th and 30th
Once again we are offering a course in Moving Phoenix exercises. The last course we offered in this proved to be one of our most memorable courses ever. Demanding, rewarding, exciting and profoundly humbling. Come out and learn the lessons of the Ancients. The last time we offered this course it was met with great enthusiasm, now we journey deeper into the amazing world of Phoenix. The cost is $200.00 per day per dog and handler
Price is $50.00 per dog extra and $75.00 per day per each observer.
Note all observers must accompany a paying handler dog team, or will be charged the full course price.

JUNE-18th, 19th and 20th
Working Service Philosophy Training Course. In a world of both change and growing concern the application of this Works ancient philosophy will be an asset to both dog and handler. During this course we will teach the many different “Sense” forms of Working Service. Making use of all natural abilities of the dog and awakening those within us the experience will be both eye opening and heart warming. If you thought that the world you live in is simply physical, guess again.
Price is $200.00 per day per dog and handler and $100.00 per day per observer.

JULY-23rd, 24th and 25th
Once again we will be offering a protection workshop like no other before. There are many forms of training, some use balls; ours takes balls and this course will do just that. This is a limited course as to class size……….so if you plan to attend enroll early.
Cost is $300.00 per day per dog and handler and no observers permitted.

AUGUST-27th, 28th and 29th
Hot summers, dusty dry roads, grasses that crunch under foot, it must be time to track and prove and disprove those theories so often used in the world of man tracking. As our aim this year is to push the limits and expand your field of vision the tracks will be from one to five miles in length. They will be aged and challenging. As always Baden K9 stands alone in training why not come and stand center front with us. Cost is $150.00 per day per dog and handler and $50.00 per day per extra dog or observer.

SEPTEMBER-24th, 25th and 26th
What is a Patrol Dog? What should its abilities be? What are your abilities? What are the abilities of your dog? Want to find out where we are going with these and other questions? Then this is the course to attend. Challenging as always, humbling as expected, as real as it can get and as rewarding as you hope for. Cost is $150.00 per dog and handler and $50.00 per extra dog or observer.

OCTOBER-22nd, 23rd and 24th
This month of pumpkins and corn fields will be another first for Baden K9 as we offer a course in scent work such as you have never seen before. The fact that Baden has been and continues to be the most copied training facility in the world keeps us from placing a course description here on line. I will tell you this however if you think you have seen every challenge in scent indication , location and discrimination then come and experience the world of Working Service. This course will open a whole new field of exercises and knowledge to novice and seasoned teams alike. Price is $200.00 per dog handler teams and $50.00 per each additional dog.

November-26th, 27th and 28th
The last course of the year and you know there is no better way than to wind down with Moving Phoenix. Once again we will instruct in new exercises on the Ancient art of Phoenix. Come on out and see where we go with this one. Cost is $200.00 per dog and handler team.
