Equipment List

We are often asked what to bring for training at Baden K-9. Here is a list of recommended equipment. This list is good for any of the training/bootcamps etc.
A copy of up to date vaccination record for your dog must be presented at the start of the course.

  • Suitable durable outdoor clothing and rugged outdoor footwear.
  • Full body rain gear and waterproof footwear.
  • LOTS of extra socks, hats, mitts, warmers etc. (seasonal)
  • Sleeping bags, pillow and warm sleeping garments. The barracks are heated with wood so it can be cool in the mornings.
  • Canteens
  • Battery powered flashlight along with extra batteries.
  • Personal hygiene items, towels, soap, washcloth etc.
  • Small knapsack.
  • Food and bowls for your dog.
  • Many of our clients have chosen to bring tents so any additional camping type of equipment that you think you may require.
  • Leather lead & collar, tracking harness and long line. Baden has their own line of equipment so these may be purchased at our facility.
  • Dog crate
  • Scent articles may be brought along for scent work.
