Training is available for church youth groups, private individuals forming a group, private schools, scouts, cubs, girl guides or Kiwanis groups.
These courses will make make use of our obstacle courses, our climbing walls and our swinging cable bridge with the overhanging cable.
Our courses are aimed at instilling, some, but not limited to, the following in our youth:
This course includes classroom time and hands on training.
We will have guest speakers ranging from experienced law officers, military personnel and others.
Clients be taught how to survive with the supplies they have on hand and how to utilize what is available outdoors.
They are taught how to take control of a situation, keep a clear head and to understand and be comfortable in a natural surrounding.
We use the same tried and tested values and traditions which are used when working with our dogs, values and traditions that Mike was taught in the early years of learning.
This method of training has earned us the respect and gratitude of the K-9 world and handlers.
We live in a world of quick fixes and the preference of shortcuts.
This is not the training we teach here.
The training offered here gives the young people the opportunity to challenge themselves both physically and mentally.
Courses run 2 or 3 days.
For maximum effect at least two days is recommended.
Extended course lengths can be arranged through our office.
COST:
The cost of the camp is $100.00 per day, per individual.
For a group of 3 or more the cost is $80.00/ per day.
Food and lodgings are included in course price.
REGISTRATION:
To register for a course either telephone and a registration form will be sent to you.
A
20% deposit is required at the time of registration to reserve the facilities.
The security deposit is refundable upon cancellation provided we are notified at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the course.
FOOD AND LODGING:
Use of our barracks is available.Our barracks, which are secluded in 5 acres of mature bush, are rustic but very comfortable. Meals will be provided.
Any special diet needs or concerns should be brought to our attention prior to attending.
Any extra costs are not included in the price.
Our staff is a cohesive, well-experienced team, comprised of trained personnel with military background.
All have their First Aid certification, rappelling certification and are drill instructors.
EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING
B.D.U's are recommended or loose fitting long pants.
Training is done in all weather so suitable clothing should be brought as well as other accessories such as flashlight, thermos, water canteens, mitts, gloves, etc.
This will ensures a better training experience.
The client must supply all toiletries.
TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation for pickup of clients from the airport can be made.
Leasing of a vehicle is the responsibility of the client.
We are 10 minutes driving distance from the nearest town.
Watch for pictures in the near future, of our first youth group in training.
These will give you a visual view of the training.
